General:
Q: How does it work?
1. A WaiterBell button is placed on a table which corresponds to the table number. 2. When the button is pressed, a signal is sent to the WaiterBell receiver at the server station. 3. The receiver displays the table number requesting service.
Q: Should I get WaiterBell? A: While improving customer service is a goal of all restaurants, WaiterBell is not a good fit for all restaurants. WaiterBell is ideal for casual dining restaurants, pubs, and cafes that provide table service.
Q: Does the button or receiver make a sound? A: No, the button does not make a sound when pressed. The WaiterBell System uses a FCC approved radio frequency to send signals to the receiver. The receiver can be configured to emit sound when a button is pressed.
Q: How many tables does the WaiterBell receiver support? A: Each receiver can support 128 tables.
Q:What if I have multiple waiter stations? Can I have another receiver configured to receive the same or different WaiterBell buttons? A: Yes, you can have multiple receivers that can be configured to receive the same or different buttons.
Q: What powers the WaiterBell button? How long does it last? A: The button is battery powered and is rated to last 2 years.
